After what seemed like an eternal wait, the Audi SQ2 has finally made its way to Australia, arriving down under in early 2021. This sports SUV was first released overseas in 2018, and was held back by Audi until it reclassified the country as a mild climate, rather than a hot climate. In any case, the arrival of the SQ2 opens up a new option for motorists who love a dynamic SUV complete with practicality, comfort and an upmarket look and feel.
As is the case with all of the Q and SQ models within the Audi line-up, the SQ5 is another proposition altogether. The SQ2 features a 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder capable of producing 221kW and 400Nm, while the regular Q2 comes with either a 1.4-litre, 1.5-litre, or 2.0-litre turbo petrol motor that peaks at 140kW of power across the range. In addition, the SQ5 also has a more sporty dynamic and ride sensation, including adaptive suspension, plus other perks in the way of amenity and comfort inside the cabin.
You bet it is! In fact, it's easier to describe the SQ2 as an urban SUV, but this compact vehicle also gets the bonus of the coveted S performance badge. It is in every way the upmarket and top-tier SUV that you would expect from a premium brand like Audi, but with the bonus of a sleek and versatile design that accommodates the day-to-day demands of any busy lifestyle. It builds on the already impressive recipe of the Q2 and turns it into something even better.

But the more mundane, mainstream Giulia isn’t what the red-blooded Alfisti want to know about. They want...
