Audi's Q2 faces a lot of competition across the market, not just from other premium auto-makers, but an ever-increasing array of options in the more affordable SUV categories as well. However, the one consistent theme here is that the Q2 rises to the top thanks to its superb dynamics and premium inclusions. If you place a high value on comfort when looking for a new car, the Q2 is up there with the best of contenders to take home the title, making it a first-rate vehicle.
If you're looking for a smaller SUV, but one that isn't short on space or comfort, the Q2 is right on the money. In contrast, the Q3 is more tailored towards new car buyers who are looking for a unit that trumps its style first and foremost, in some ways more than complete practicality, but still caters to small families. The Q2 is also more affordable as an entry-point into the Audi stable of cars, while the Q3 has the edge in terms of driving power as you might expect for the slightly more up-market model.
While it's not a complete overhaul courtesy of a new generation model, the Audi Q2 is still a beneficiary of a mid-life upgrade from mid-2021. With that, it means a sharper look, new and improved engine, plus just when you thought it wasn't possible, more technology to really maximise the value on offer here. As more and more car companies come to the realisation that technology will play a defining role in the cars of the future, Audi is wasting no time making a strong play.
