All GLA vehicles have a crisp and urbane cabin, and considering the modest starting price for the range, that means some exceptional value. From the smooth riding petrol models, to the zippy and efficient turbo-diesel, there is no room for mediocrity in this line-up. Compared with the A-Class, the GLA rides higher and provides a superior view of the road. As an overall package it also feels more comfortable, with a sense of spaciousness as well as supportive seating. The SUV genes become useful in the rear of the AMG GLA, where you’ll find more boot space than is typical in a hatch, which just adds to functionality. With a nuanced blend of authority and productiveness, this is a car with grand potential.
