Find out the Jaguar F-Type 2018 price today!
Nope! In fact, you might even say that Jaguar has really upped the ante in terms of its focus on high-end performance. The auto-maker decided after model year 2020 to phase out some of the entry-level models in the F-Type range, which included V6 and inline four-cylinder variants. That means the focus now is entirely on V8 power, ensuring a raucous experience and outstanding ride dynamics that even the most-discerning new car buyer will love.
Currently, Jaguar is selling two F-Type variants across the Australian new car market. The local line-up consists of the P450 R-Dynamic, which is rear-wheel-drive and offers up to 331kW of power, as well as the P575 R, which is an all-wheel-drive unit that can pump out 423kW of power. Both variants come with a slick eight-speed automatic transmission, as well as a 5.0-litre V8 that has been tuned for optimal performance in the P575 R.
The latest Jaguar F-Type is priced from a starting point of $166,048 for the P450 R-Dynamic in coupe guise, while the P575 R in coupe format is the dearest option in the line-up at $270,265. Both of these prices are based on Jaguar's Suggested Retail Pricing, and they are before on-road costs such as stamp duty, dealer delivery fees, registration and other government charges. The F-Type range is available in either convertible or coupe, but all variants are powered by a 5.0-litre petrol engine that is mated to an eight-speed auto gearbox.
The F-Type SVR is Jaguar's pice de rsistance in the range, and the most potent of the breed. Its price is high, but so are its performance capabilities.
View ReviewThe turbocharged four-cylinder Jaguar F-TYPE joined its supercharged six and eight-cylinder counterparts locally in late 2017. The 2.0-litre ‘i4’ line-up brings a lower entry price and increased variety to the now five-year-old, 32 variant Jaguar F-TYPE sportscar range, and is likewise available in Coupe and Convertible body-styles. Producing 221kW/400Nm, Ja...
View ReviewThere's an old automotive saying that says “only milk and juice comes in two litres”, but that’s not the case anymore. Now, you can get liquid fun in a 2.0-litre mechanical package, too. That’s because of cars like this, the new 2018 Jaguar F-Type, which has seen the addition of a new four-cylinder engine that still packs plenty of power and torque, is light...
View ReviewTurbocharged four-cylinders have become such a rage in the era of engine downsizing that it’s some time since they’ve been restricted to the likes of hot-hatches. Manufacturers also continue to extract impressive outputs from small capacities – sufficient, in fact, for Jaguar to deem one suitable for its most evocative car, the F-Type. Since its 2013 release...
View ReviewCast your eye over the timeless lines of the F-Type and, despite some nips and tucks, it’s remarkably unchanged from Ian Callum’s catwalk-esque original. But this one is not like the others. Boisterous, blown bent sixes and eights are nowhere to be seen. In yet another incarnation of the svelte coupe, Jaguar has bowed to economic and fuel-consumption pressur...
