BMW M4
In a tough corner of the market, BMW has pulled out the big guns to try gain an edge over its peers. The M4 has already been a quality name, oozing class and performance. However, the 2022 M4 adds more competency, thanks largely to improved power output, and the introduction of BMW’s all-wheel-drive format, the xDrive all-paw system. A 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 is the star of the show here, offering 650Nm of torque, and 375kW of power. That’s blistering under any circumstances, however, with the slick dynamics of the M4, this is a no-holds barred unit fit for the racetrack. And that shows up in the 0-100km/h sprint time, which sits comfortably under 4 seconds. In what is a unique trait, drivers can disengage the front axle to transform this from an all-wheel-drive unit into a rear-wheel-drive roadster. Bursting with advanced tech and safety, and all that high-end BMW finesse inside the cabin, the M4 takes no prisoners in its pursuit for all-out glory.
