Thanks to the fact it is street legal in Australia, that means it can be driven on the road or the race track. And just like the rest of the range, the Exige can be purchased from any authorised Lotus dealer across Australia, with the model still available for sale in three different formats - currently, the 390 Final Edition, the 420 Final Edition, and the 430 Final Edition.
The easiest way to split the two is to make the distinction that the Lotus Exige is more race-track oriented compared with the Elise. It features bigger tyres and brakes for extra grip and braking power, and it also boasts more accelerating speed in a straight line. Thanks to the same chassis the duo handle as well as each other, both being exhilarating to drive, but the Exige is configured for diehard revheads and you can spot that just from the aggressive stance and rear wing of this hot sports car.
