Find out the Peugeot 5008 2018 price today!
Peugeot's large-size SUV, the 5008, is equipped with seating for up to seven occupants, making it the perfect car for large families. The interior offers cavernous space, including plenty of leg and head room for occupants, plus lovely touches when it comes to amenity and visibility. The 5008 SUV also makes use of Peugeot's multi-flex interior, which allows you to reconfigure the individual second-row and third-row seats for maximum space and comfort, and to meet your requirements.
The latest Peugeot 5008 SUV kicks off with the 1.6-litre 5008 GT 1.6 THP, which is the entry-level model that is priced from $51,990 before on-road costs such as stamp duty, dealer delivery and registration. From there, the alternative model in the range, which is also a higher-spec option, is the 5008 GT 2.0 Bluehdi, which has a 2.0-litre diesel engine and eight-speed auto. According to Peugeot, this model retails at a price of $59,990 plus on-road costs.
Unlike a number of other large-size SUVs that come at a more affordable price-point, the Peugeot 5008 has a pretty good track record in terms of retaining its value. When you think about it, an upmarket car suited for large families certainly does have a desirable place in the market, and with all the great features and premium inclusions, it isn't surprising the 5008 holds more of its value than some of the SUVs from Kia, Toyota, Mitsubishi and the like. At the same time, the Peugeot 5008 is also considerably cheaper than rivals like the Volvo XC90 or Audi Q7.
The new Peugeot 5008 represents an oh-so-Gallic salvo in the fight for buyers in the medium-to-large SUV segment. With its sharp design, sharper pricing and extensive equipment list, is it enough to lure buyers away from more mainstream models?
View ReviewFrench-built SUVs have never naturally parked themselves in Australian driveways. Rather, when most Australian families think broad, child seat-laden high-riders, Mazda (CX-9, CX-8), Toyota (Kluger), Hyundai (Santa Fe) and Kia (Sorento) usually assume the top billings. Soon, a Peugeot could too. The new Peugeot 5008 treads a genuinely smart path to seven-sea...
View ReviewThere are a few surprises in store when you come across the Peugeot 5008. It's a seven-seat SUV and competes with other five-seat SUVs moonlighting as seven-seaters (you only use the back two seats when the need arises), like the Honda CR-V and Volkswagen's Tiguan Allspace. So how much space is there and what's it like to drive? I had my daughter's fifth bir...
View ReviewThere’s a helluva lot riding on the success of the Peugeot 5008 for the French brand in this country. The mid-sized seven-seater completes Peugeot’s SUV portfolio, which encompasses the 2008, 3008 and now the 5008. A not-so-strange thing has happened to the 5008 (a quick word for the wise – Peugeot prefers the numerical nomenclature said in full, i.e. five-t...
View ReviewFrance’s product-led automotive revival continues with the roomy, fine-driving, good-looking Peugeot 5008 seven-seater The closely related Peugeot 3008’s more sober sister, sharing almost everything from the B-pillar forward – including drivetrains – but riding on a 165mm-longer wheelbase and featuring a pair of fold-away, easily removable seats housed in th...
