Drawing on nearly 700 brake horsepower, the GTC4Lusso can reach a top speed of 335 km/h, and it has a quoted spint time of just 3.4 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h. Those metrics put this firmly in supercar territory as one of the fastest names going around.
The GTC4Lusso, which was a replacement for the Ferrari FF (Ferrari Four), is the Italian auto-maker's pride and joy in the grand tourer segment. With three doors, four seats, and primarily known for being an all-wheel-drive unit, the GTC4Lusso is short-hand for “Grand Tourer Coupe Four (seat)", while the inclusion of the word 'Lusso' means luxury in Italian. So, there you have it, the GTC4Lusso is more than just a tricky name to spit out, it also has a bit of detail behind it.
In 2020 Ferrari announced that it would be discontinuing the GTC4Lusso at the end of its scheduled five-year model strategy. This is also the company's standard model life cycle for its supercars, however, the Italian luxury brand has also signalled it has other intentions ahead when the replacement for the GTC4Lusso arrives. The four-wheel-drive grand tourer has been replaced by the Ferrari Purosangue, which is its first-ever SUV.
