First unveiled back in 2014, the McLaren 650S is a British supercar that was based on the MP4-12C, albeit incorporated as much as 25% new parts. It has since been superseded by the McLaren 720S, which was first released in May 2017. Nonetheless, the 650S is still being produced in some overseas markets, but sales of the high-profile car down under have been phased out for some time now.
The 650S has a claimed top speed of 333 km/h, and can reportedly accelerate from 0–100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds. That makes it one of the fastest cars on the planet, and right up there in the upper echelon for speed. For completeness, the 0–200 km/h time for the McLaren 650S is an impressive 8.4 seconds, which is as good as you can find.
In case it wasn't obvious, the 650S name takes inspiration from its power capabilities. This unit has a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that offers 641 brake horsepower. The engine output is rated at 478kW of power, and 678Nm of torque. providing immense backing for an all-out assault.
