Nissan X-Trail
There’s no shortage of competition in the SUV segment, however the Nissan X-Trail has managed to leverage its popularity and regularly feature among the top sellers list. With its distinguishable style catering for the tastes of all the family, the model has come a long way in now reaching an immediately recognisable status. Nissan maintains a long line of variants within the X-Trail series, including both 2WD and 4WD options, yet for the most part the company has managed to keep prices in a tight range. So if you’re prepared to stretch your budget just that little bit more, you could drive away with a whole lot extra - especially as far as safety additions go. Inside, drivers are treated to a spacious layout and more than enough storage capacity. CVT auto transmission is used in each variant, bar the entry-level ST, which comes as a manual. Where the Nissan X-Trail shines is its inner city driving, which comes smoothly and effortlessly as a result of electrically assisted steering. Don’t make your final decision on an SUV til you’ve given the X-Trail a look over, it’s an adventurous, family-oriented vehicle that is built to last.

The Nissan X-Trail has been a well-loved car in Australia, and despite it now being a bit long in the tooth, it hasn't stopped many from buying one. In 2019, it was the third best-selling medium SUV in the country. Overseas, Nissan has recently unveiled the car that will replace the current X-Trail and is badged as the Rogue in America. Timing and specificat...

The current-generation Nissan X-TRAIL has been on sale in Australia since 2014. It was updated again in 2017. By now it’s very well established and recognised in the market for its durability, value and packaging. Earlier in 2020, Nissan added rear parking sensors to the specification of the X-TRAIL Ti tested here. The flagship model also features high-grade...

The X-trail looks deceptively small from the outside. There are curved angles, a large grille and the design still holds even though this model’s been around for seven years, and is about to be replaced by a new one. It’s tough looking, but feels sophisticated on the road.  Inside also feels good. As it’s at the top of the range there are leather seats and a...

It’s just over 12 months until we see the all-new Nissan X-Trail; barring any delays of course. In the meantime, Nissan has unveiled a minor update for the 2021 Nissan X-Trail. That update means two things: You can now secure a sharp deal on a run-out model, or you can get your hands on an updated model like the one we’re testing. The updates aren't huge, ei...

If you saw the title “2021 Nissan X-Trail Ti review” and clicked on it thinking it’d be the next-generation model, we’re sorry to disappoint. The next X-Trail won’t arrive until 2022, over 12 months after it reached North American showrooms where it’s known as the Rogue. That also means it’ll be beaten to the Australian market by the next-generation Mitsubis...

The speedometer is about 10% out had to buy a sat navman to know what speed you are actually doing. Washed the car recently and found out you can’t lift the wipers out of the way to clean the windscreen, they hit on the bonnet. Otherwise I am happy with the car.
