Nissan X-Trail FAQs

PMC Says... 7.3 / 10

Nissan X-Trail There’s no shortage of competition in the SUV segment, however the Nissan X-Trail has managed to leverage its popularity and regularly feature among the top sellers list. With its distinguishable style catering for the tastes of all the family, the model has come a long way in now reaching an immediately recognisable status. Nissan maintains a long line of variants within the X-Trail series, including both 2WD and 4WD options, yet for the most part the company has managed to keep prices in a tight range. So if you’re prepared to stretch your budget just that little bit more, you could drive away with a whole lot extra - especially as far as safety additions go. Inside, drivers are treated to a spacious layout and more than enough storage capacity. CVT auto transmission is used in each variant, bar the entry-level ST, which comes as a manual. Where the Nissan X-Trail shines is its inner city driving, which comes smoothly and effortlessly as a result of electrically assisted steering. Don’t make your final decision on an SUV til you’ve given the X-Trail a look over, it’s an adventurous, family-oriented vehicle that is built to last.

Nissan X-Trail Review

The Nissan X-Trail was one of the original members of the booming mid-sized SUV class. Once a semi-capable off-roader, the third iteration has morphed into a softer family wagon.  First released in 2013, the third-generation model is getting long in the tooth compared to the Mazda CX-5 and Toyota RAV4, although it’s still a top-three seller in Australia.  To...

Kolesa's renderings show how closely aligned the look of the new X-Trail SUV will be with Nissan's offerings in North America, where the popular mid-sizer is sold as the Rogue.   Among its siblings there are the Maxima and Altima sedans and the Murano SUV. Each wears a broad and boxy version of Nissan's 'V-Motion' grille, and the new X-Trail is set to adopt...

For an older car, the X-Trail still looks pretty good, whether it's beside its Qashqai sibling or out and about.  It's not particularly adventurous and has a very strong Nissan aesthetic about it (partly courtesy of a mild facelift in 2017). It's all nicely proportioned and the way the glass kicks up at the rear means it looks a lot like the smaller Qashqai...

The current-generation Nissan X-TRAIL has been on sale in Australia since 2014. It was updated again in 2017. By now it’s very well established and recognised in the market for its durability, value and packaging. Earlier in 2020, Nissan added rear parking sensors to the specification of the X-TRAIL Ti tested here. The flagship model also features high-grade...

The Nissan X-Trail has been a well-loved car in Australia, and despite it now being a bit long in the tooth, it hasn't stopped many from buying one. In 2019, it was the third best-selling medium SUV in the country. Overseas, Nissan has recently unveiled the car that will replace the current X-Trail and is badged as the Rogue in America. Timing and specificat...

Price My Car is a professional company to deal with and have helped me save a considerable amount of money under the retail price of the vehicle and not having to deal with car sales people was a much better experience. I will definitely be recommending Price My Car to my friends and family, once again thank you David. Best Regards Peter.

    Car shopping made easy

I went online to learn which dealer would be close to my area to buy my special car. I was advised by Price my Car to go to either of 2 dealers. I went to both. I was trading my 3 year old car in. One dealer gave me a much better tradein price which made the car I wanted to buy a much more reasonable price. Very Happy with my new car & then I received a $100 voucher from Price my Car. Such a bonus. Happy with dealer they suggested & very happy with service from Price my Car.

The best and stressless way to buy a car

I must say that Tom@Price My Car and Philip@BMW Doncaster were absolutely amazing. Philip had the time and patience late on a Thursday afternoon to listen to what our requirements were and was able to come up with some amazing options. He then organised for one of his salesmen to provide us with a test drive car the next day. We both liked the drive of the car ect. so we then did the deal on the car that Philip had quoted us which is a car that is on a boat and due to be available late February. If you are wanting to buy a car at a great price and have a “ Stressless “ experience then Price My Car is certainly the way to go !
