In 2022 the Hyundai Palisade is a revitalised name, with the range scoring an overhaul. In what is great news for new car buyers, the starting point for this mid-to-large SUV range is now $6,000 less than the MY21 model, while a mid-spec variant has been added to make it three in total. Perfect for growing families, the Palisade is one of the most comfortable cars in this segment. It feels spacious, but most importantly, the interior is versatile and offers a number of configurations, be it seven or eight seats, FWD or AWD, and two punchy engine options to boot. The MY22 Palisade makes a number of changes to the list of standard inclusions, with more items pushed into the new mid-tier model, the Palisade Elite. However, even the Elite is priced below the former starting point for the range, and now includes options like 20-inch alloys, wireless phone charging, power tailgate, rear privacy glass, sat-nav and a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Palisade might be a larger vehicle, but it is in no way complicated nor difficult to drive, and at this lower price-point, it screams excellent value.
