With curtains closing on the Holden Spark, as well as the Barina, the company will lose two of its small-sized budget options. Nevertheless, for motorists scouring the market in search of an entry-level option that won’t leave you riddled in debt, the Spark is a fine choice. Like the Barina, Holden has managed to find more space in the front section of the cabin than seemingly plausible, so it’s a welcome feeling stepping into the car. You won’t have any problems weaving through traffic or parking in the CBD, as maneuverability comes easy. Although AEB is missing from the range, and certain safety additions come as a premium option, there are still enough inclusions with respect to the price to offer merit to new car buyers. The Holden Spark is an eager and enthusiastic drive, so it’s a shame to see it bow out, however warranty support remains in place and you are likely to find some superb discounts out there.
