Already a fan favourite, the Alfa Romeo Giulia is an improved proposition in MY22. Accentuating everything that we’ve come to admire from the Italian auto-maker, this edition of the beloved Alfa sedan is dazzling in every possible way. Continuing from last year’s line-up, it is the Sport, Veloce, and the Quadrifoglio that make up the names on offer. And again, they are remarkable performers in their own right, especially the top-spec Quadrifoglio, which at 4 seconds from standstill to 100km/h, is fit for the racetrack. But the real value of the Giulia range is the expansive features list, especially in the premium variants where inclusions extend to Alcantara trim, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, as well as a carbon-fibre bonnet, rear spoiler, and side skirts. With a dignified look it would be easy to underestimate the practicality and tenacity of the Giulia, but not only does it include an updated touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone charging, and ample boot space - albeit perhaps at the expense of the second-row occupants - but this model is a sprinter in every sense of the word.
