Another American icon, Dodge is a marque from the Fiat Chrysler range, dating all the way back to 1900. Many of the vehicles in the Dodge line-up today feature performance attributes that put them toe to toe with other brawny heavy-hitters across the SUV, sedan and sports car segments of the industry. After a period of more than 30 years where Dodge had bowed out of the Australian new car market, the brand made a reappearance in 2006, albeit today its offshoot RAM brand is more active down under courtesy of its menacing dual-cab pick-up trucks. Still, few brands would leave behind a legacy in an overseas market after just a limited presence, however, Dodge is one of those, for its fanfare in pop culture, enduring presence in the US, as well as its reputation as an ensemble of American muscle have stood the test of time.
