Audi Q3
Making a name for yourself in the small-to-mid size SUV category is no easy feat, what with an endless number of options emerging every year. It takes something special to really stand out from the crowd, however Audi has managed to hit that note with the highly successful Q3. It is the German auto-maker’s third best-selling car locally, which is one phenomenal achievement when you consider how deep the company’s vehicle line-up runs. In 2019 the Audi Q3 receives a fresh makeover, sporting a much more vigorous look courtesy of sharper edges and additional size on all fronts. All in all, it is now a far more imposing option staring you straight in the face. New technology features prominently inside the cabin, making this a next generation crossover fit with the works. And by works, we mean just about everything. Plenty of space will envelop you as well once you step inside, not to mention an assortment of high quality finishes. So before you think about picking up a run-out model from last year, reconsider that choice because the room available here will leave it paling in comparison. Audi’s mechanical senses won’t surprise anyone, so steering, handling, acceleration and overall ride quality are as delightful as ever. But for sheer performance, the RS Q3 variant is a five-cylinder 2.5L rocket with enormous levels of grip, thrust and braking capacity. Why look backwards when the Audi Q3 series will help you move forward with your life?

These two cars between them threaten to take sales away from BMW's X1 and X2 models. Other cars in the segment, including the Volvo XC40 and Lexus UX, are also put on notice. Init...

There is no shortage of options for buyers in the world of small- to mid-sized SUVs, those compact crossover vehicles straddling the line between everyday urban duties with rugged utility looks. It’s a crowded market, one where the combatants need to stand out if they are to trouble the sales charts. Audi’s Q3 has been one of the German brand’s most popular...

5 0 5 The Wheels Verdict: The second-generation Q3 makes significant leaps in three key areas: packaging, equipment and dynamics. It’s usefully larger than its predecessor, and more flexible in its ability to carry both people and cargo. Spend the money on options, and there’s very little by way of comfort and convenience equipment you’ll miss out on. It’s n...
