Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross FAQs

PMC Says... 7.2 / 10

Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Slotting in between the Mitsubishi ASX and the Outlander, the Eclipse Cross is the answer for those in need of a sharp, stylish SUV that comes with the latest gear and imposing on-road performance. Autonomous emergency braking is included in each variant, unlike the ASX, although joined by all the other modern-day accessories to make your driving easier. There is 100kW of power and 250Nm of torque available through the excitable 1.5L turbo petrol engine, and like Mitsubishi’s efforts elsewhere, the CVT outperforms transmission units found in many rival vehicles. Only the Exceed version comes in AWD, which offers greater grip, balance and roadholding characteristics, particularly in corners. With the list of safety inclusions running deeper and deeper the higher you progress through the series, Mitsubishi’s meticulous efforts are on show and accompany outstanding build quality. You’ll find greater storage and towing capacity here than the ASX, including versatile rear seating that is comfortable nonetheless. Sounds like a bargain right? Your only challenge is to get in before all the other new car buyers and realise first-hand.

Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Review

Ageing gracefully isn’t an easy task and it’s rarely successfully pulled off. In the SUV realm, the first-generation Volvo XC90’s 12-year run seems to be the best innings of them all. Narrow down the form factor and do some light digging and it won’t take long to discover that the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and Honda HR-V aren’t exactly spring chickens. In fac...

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross tends to get a little lost between the company’s better-selling ASX and Outlander models. Where that pair are utilitarian and sell on value, the Eclipse Cross has always been pitched as Mitsubishi shooting for something a little more upmarket and interesting. It also borrows half of its name from the brand’s little-known coupe so...

Classified as a small SUV, it’s packed on the pounds after the holiday season, so to speak, and now arguably straddles both the small and medium SUV segments. In doing so, it’s possibly expanded its pool of buyers – but its pool of competitors, too. Having gained 140mm in length, the facelifted Eclipse Cross now offers a 405L boot, up from 374L in the previo...

Long before it was cool to take the name of a sports car that was never officially released here and slap it on the rump of a compact SUV (Ford Puma, if you're wondering), Mitsubishi had already been there and done that with a car of its own, the Eclipse Cross.  One imagines it was so named because Eclipse owners would be terribly cross about what the bods i...

We’re testing the mid-spec, front-wheel drive Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Aspire model, which comes with an impressive array of standard equipment for a not-too-expensive $34,990 plus on-road costs. The Aspire hits a sweet spot by delivering a blend of sophistication and technology, the heated suede-and-leather seats (with power adjustment) feel great while fou...

The 2021 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has grown up – and out. Classified as a small SUV, it’s packed on the pounds after the holiday season, so to speak, and now arguably straddles both the small and medium SUV segments. In doing so, it’s possibly expanded its pool of buyers – but its pool of competitors, too. Having gained 140mm in length, the facelifted Eclips...

Thank you David for your assistance in helping me purchase my Toyota Landcruiser. Price My Car is a professional company to deal with and have helped me save a considerable amount of money under the retail price of the vehicle and not having to deal with car sales people was a much better experience. I will definitely be recommending Price My Car to my friends and family, once again thank you David. Best Regards Peter.

    Car shopping made easy

I went online to learn which dealer would be close to my area to buy my special car. I was advised by Price my Car to go to either of 2 dealers. I went to both. I was trading my 3 year old car in. One dealer gave me a much better tradein price which made the car I wanted to buy a much more reasonable price. Very Happy with my new car & then I received a $100 voucher from Price my Car. Such a bonus. Happy with dealer they suggested & very happy with service from Price my Car.

The best and stressless way to buy a car

I must say that Tom@Price My Car and Philip@BMW Doncaster were absolutely amazing. Philip had the time and patience late on a Thursday afternoon to listen to what our requirements were and was able to come up with some amazing options. He then organised for one of his salesmen to provide us with a test drive car the next day. We both liked the drive of the car ect. so we then did the deal on the car that Philip had quoted us which is a car that is on a boat and due to be available late February. If you are wanting to buy a car at a great price and have a “ Stressless “ experience then Price My Car is certainly the way to go !
