Mitsubishi has found the right recipe for success with the ASX, managing to deliver a compact yet spacious, comfortable and practical SUV that is high on value. As the most affordable SUV in the Japanese brand's line-up, you'd be mistaken for thinking this was a bare bones model, however, it is anything but, instead brimming with advanced features and offering a smooth driving experience that is a step above most others in this category. With an attractive starting price, you may even have scope to explore one of the higher-spec variants, complete with active safety. All said and done, the Mitsubishi ASX is money well spent.
Unfortunately, the Mitsubishi ASX is only available in front-wheel drive. If you're looking for something with a bit more traction to get off road, some variants of the car released before 2018 featured all-wheel drive, although the 4WD capabilities didn't extend to low-range driving. Nonetheless, today's Mitsubishi has extra ground clearance compared with a hatch, although if you want a 4x4 that is better equipped for the wilderness, you may wish to look at variants from the Volvo XC40 or Jeep Compass line-ups.

After 15 months of owning my Mitsubishi ASX GSR with 2.4ltr engine, I couldn’t be happier with it’s power and performance, it’s Apple car play and it’s large screen is awesome and how comfy the seats are, the car runs very smooth. The space inside the car is also bigger than you think, Also the massive 10 year warranty is such peace of mind.
