It hasn’t taken long for the Kia Seltos to become one of the most-loved small SUVs on the market down under. Boasting great charm and charisma, the Seltos ticks a number of boxes for all types of new car buyers. From first glance, the aesthetics and design of this unit are a winning formula, offering sharp looks, a great interior layout, and eye-catching colour choices. Sticking with the interior, the cabin is spacious in every possible way, offering plenty of leg and headroom, plus ample cargo storage. The equipment list for the Seltos is lengthy, with the South Korean auto-maker really putting as much as it can into this feisty SUV so that it is brimming with value. One disappointing thing, however, is that some advanced safety features come as an option, although the standard inclusions are still worth a reminder. In terms of drive dynamics, this unit really punches above its weight. The engine is smooth, but it is the transmission unit, a CVT, that really takes the spotlight here, delivering a sense of precision that turns this into quite the refined ride. With seven separate variants you have plenty of versatility across the range, and compared with some of its rivals on the market, this really is a polished package.
