It may have been a popular model from the Aston Martin range, but the Rapide is no longer being produced, which also means that you can't find it on sale anymore - at least, not in the new car market. Even in the second-hand market, you might not find a large number of units for sale as the Rapide was always a niche, high-end car. A lot of car manufacturers would have loved to have a car like the Rapide in their stable as Aston Martin once did. It wasn't just the Rapide's sheer tenacity on the road and a high-end offering that made it stand apart, but it was also the model's exceptional reliability that had all the motoring pundits in awe. Unlike some of the early DB9 variants, the Rapide was largely free from many of the small issues that initially bobbed up, and the V12 engine was recognised as one of the most dependable that money could buy. There is a good chance if you find a Rapide on the second-hand market today it could be running just as strong as it once did.
Not anymore, unfortunately. Model year 2019 was the last time the Rapide was produced on a global level, although that meant some units made it down under with a 2020 badge. Aston Martin decided to phase out the Rapide with the intent to replace it with an electric sedan, although it has since turned into a situation where the DBX filled the role. The all-electric replacement flagged by Aston Martin was canned, but the British auto-maker is still working on a series of electric cars at this time.
