Looking to set the electric vehicle segment alight, Hyundai has released the IONIQ. Not only is it the company’s first fully electric car, but it is also far more aggressively priced than its direct competitors like the Renault Zoe. While of course that positions it above the price of most other cars of comparable size and amenity, it does go one step further than the hybrid version released at the start of 2018. Designated as a hatch, the car also looks and feels much roomier inside, almost equivalent to the size of a small sedan. The base variant includes a comprehensive safety package, plus a range of
technology bonuses designed to provide greater driving convenience. An upgrade to the Premium version brings dual-zone climate control, a powered sunroof, adjustable front seats with heating, plus leather finishes. Supported by a 28kWh lithium-ion battery, the IONIQ can produce 88kW and 295Nm while achieving a driving range of approximately 230km. Being fully electric there is great enterprise and dash from a stationary position, with the ride also feeling quite poised and settled. If Australia was ever in need of a catalyst to spark EV sales, this could be just the answer to convert you from conventional cars.

Great site, allowed me to get a realistic value of my potential new car, also allowed me to see if my local dealer was competitive. Easy to navigate, easy to find car variations, even allowed me to request a quote. Great site, would definitely recommend for any new car buyer

I’m impressed by the savings they find and the dashboard feature for comparison. Definitely worth a visit when you’re car shopping. The $100 fuel voucher’s a nice touch too!

Yes, it doesn’t cost a cent to access all our pricing data online. Average prices, good prices & even excellent prices paid over the last 6 months. Read reviews, calculate resale values & prices from Hyundai dealers local to you.
As well as seeing the retail price before on-road-costs, you’ll see how much a Hyundai IONIQ should really cost by reviewing the best driveaway Hyundai IONIQ price Australia has seen (or been quoted) including any deals and discounts from Hyundai Australia and the new car dealers. In general they will represent brand new 2022 Hyundai IONIQ cars but may also include quotes on ex demo Hyundai IONIQs as well as new release deals, runout & EOFY sales, 2021-2022 plated (new only) cars and previous model years (MY22 or MY21). We also break the numbers down by spec, including transmission, fuel-type, bodyshape and transmission. You'll see resale values to help with trade in offers, value showroom demos and to find a clearance sale near you. Our Hyundai IONIQ reviews are provided by me and GoAuto Media.
One of our accredited dealers will be in touch shortly to discuss specific exclusive discounts available on this car. At no cost, nor obligation.
