• Is the Volvo S60 a good car?

  Service costs have long been a frustration for Volvo owners down under, however, those days are less common thanks to the brand's capped-price servicing. Owners can receive three years or 45,000km of servicing for the S60, V60, V90, XC40, XC60 or XC90 at a total price of $1500, or $2500 for the option of five years or 75,000km of servicing, whichever comes first. As a bonus, all new Volvo buyers also get a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, plus five years of roadside assistance.

• Is the Volvo S60 fast?

  The Volvo S60 comes with a lot of zip and aggression, so in the eyes of many, this is one vehicle that you could easily put in the category of being fast. With up to 192kW and 400Nm from the 2.0-litre turbo engine, the S60 is a powerful unit, turning heads with a 0-100km/h time of just 5.9 seconds. Unfortunately the T8 plug-in hybrid variant is currently not available down under as it once was, with that unit boasting phenomenal levels of power to see it reach the same speed in 4.3 seconds.
