This lightning-fast hatch was so popular when it first hit Toyota showrooms across the country, stock quickly ran out the door. On the back of the incredible success for the Yaris GR, Toyota has confirmed that it is bringing a new allocation of the GR and the Rallye variants to Australia in 2022. There may be some delays amid global parts supply shortages, but expect these units to be in limited supply when they are finally available.
Prices for the Toyota GR Yaris begin at a starting point of $49,500 for the basic GR hatch. Meanwhile, the GR Yaris Rallye opens at $54,500. With just the two variants in the picture, the GR Yaris might not have the immediate accessibility as that of other hatchbacks, but this performance unit is well worth its premium. Prices here are based on Toyota's Suggested Retail Price, so they are before on-road costs.
