Find out the Toyota C-HR 2021 price today!
One of the newest additions to the Toyota line-up, the C-HR makes a bold statement and lives up to its billing as a great compact SUV. Sure, you have the likes of the Hyundai Kona, Mazda CX-3 and Honda HR-V that will lay claim to the title, but there is really so much to like with the C-HR that you might just cut to the chase and put it straight at the top of your list. Best of all, there are a number of variants to choose from, each offering an increasingly value-packed proposition for the family that knows what it wants.
The Toyota C-HR might be a small SUV, however, with its weight being well over 1,400kg, the dynamic 1.2-litre engine might leave you wanting a little bit more grunt to get out of tricky situations. It's still perfectly adequate as a daily drive, but it does run with a little less power than other vehicles in the small SUV segment. If you prefer to have a little more acceleration and power under the hood, you might wish to consider one of the rivals to the Toyota C-HR, with the Mazda CX-30 being a great choice.
Prices for the new Toyota C-HR range from $30,915 for the entry-level GXL (2WD) and top out at $38,115 for the Koba (2WD) TWO Tone Hybrid. Alongside the hybrid variant editions you have petrol-powered models as well, while the use of a continuous variable transmission is paired with either a 1.2-litre or 1.8-litre engine. Toyota's suggested pricing is open to negotiation, of course, just make sure you provision for other on-road costs, which aren't included in these figures.
For some reason, Toyota thought the model designation "GXL" would fit the C-HR despite being far more at home on a Land Cruiser, which is a car with a very 1980s vibe versus the C-HR's 21st century zeitgeist feel. The main changes for the 2021 model year are added to the safety column, but GXL buyers pick up keyless entry and start. The 2WD is $30,915 (plus...
View ReviewIn what might be the most sensible, practical move ever, the third car in Australia to be given the GR treatment is the C-HR SUV. While the 2020 Toyota C-HR GR Sport may not be a fully loaded performance model in the same way the GR Supra and GR Yaris are, it follows a familiar formula set by plenty of other brands. More closely related to the regular C-HR i...
View ReviewIt took years for Toyota Australia to bring the hybrid variant of its funky C-HR crossover to our market, but despite being fashionably late it’s been the only real hybrid mainstream small SUV until very recently. The 2021 Toyota C-HR Koba Hybrid launched in the very late stages of 2019 as part of the facelifted range, and at the time stood alone in its clas...
