Tesla's car batteries are designed to last as much as 800,000 kilometres, which is sure to see you get plenty of use out of any of its vehicles over a long lifespan. To date, Tesla is also working on developing batteries that can last even longer, potentially more than 1.5 million kilometres, however, that development may be some time away, if ever, as current batteries are not yet capable of lasting that long. Stay tuned though, technology is moving faster than any of us ever could have imagined!
While it is entertaining to pit these two names against one another, the answer to this question is that it depends on which models you are comparing. The Model X is faster than some Ferrari models, albeit this is more so the case for the top-spec Plaid variant. By way of information, however, the dual-motor Long Range can go from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds thanks to 499kW of power, while the tri-motor Plaid can do that sprint in just 2.6 seconds owing to 760kW of power.
At this time, there are just the two variants within the Tesla Model X line-up. These include the Long Range, which starts from a little over $160,000 before on-road costs, while the Model X Plaid is the auto-maker's top-spec variant, with prices coming in at around $175,000 plus on-road costs. Do note, however, these prices have been continuously changing, so check with Tesla first. Previously there were more options in the Tesla X range, including the 75D, 100D, P100D. These prices are higher than months ago, with the car-maker opting to raise prices across its Model S and Model X series, while pushing down prices for the Model 3.

But the more mundane, mainstream Giulia isn’t what the red-blooded Alfisti want to know about. They want...
