Find out the Tesla Model S 2017 price today!
The Model 3 is the cheapest Tesla currently available across the Australian new car market, with prices starting from just under $60,000 before on-road costs. In contrast, the Model S is currently retailing for a starting price of $141,990, which includes a modest price hike implemented just recently. This was in response to stock issues, and it could change at short notice given Tesla has a habit of fine-tuning its prices, arguably, more often than other auto-makers.

In addition, the Model S also fits into the company's line-up as a low-volume but high-margin seller, which somewhat contrasts the Model 3, which is intended to be more accessible to the mass market. By way of difference, the Model S comes with significant upgrades over the Model 3, including greater performance attributes, increased cargo capacity, more space, finer materials, plus a whole array of additional features.
