Although no longer available in the new car market, the Suzuki Kizashi was a competent and well-built car that offered a taste of the sophisticated and exciting driving dynamics that are normally reserved for European and Japanese sports sedans. Naturally, Suzuki offered that experience at a discounted price, yet still delivering a refined car. The Kizashi succumbed to an early life, unfortunately some might say, but there are a number of fitting replacements that have since come along and filled the gap for an affordable sports sedan.
At a global level, the Suzuki kizashi came unstuck because it was unable to shake off its dearer price-tag compared with the rest of the Suzuki range, with the brand normally viewed as an economical choice for those on a budget. Closer to home, the small-to-mid-sized sedan has fallen out of favour across the last ten years, and the unit just didn't stack up in comparison to some of the other names in this segment that had a bit more longevity and presence in the market.
The Suzuki Kizashi is no longer in production, with just 38 units selling in its last year of production in 2016. That means you'll need to turn to the second-hand market if you have your heart set on one of these sedans, however, expect them to be in short supply given their sales numbers never really took off across Australia.

Over the ensuing six-and-a-bit years, though, the mid-sized game...
View ReviewAlfa Romeo has been hard at work refining the Giulia. The engineers in Turin have updated the infotainment, interior trim, and driver assists to make its beautiful sports sedan a better rival for its German foes – and they’ve done a pretty good job of it. But the more mundane, mainstream Giulia isn’t what the red-blooded Alfisti want to know about. They want...
