Find out the Suzuki Ignis 2018 price today!
The Suzuki Ignis is a clever and practical car that will surprise and impress. Although from a design perspective it may not win over everyone, you will surely love the level of ingenuity and crafty consideration inside the cabin where space is optimised as good as any other car in this segment. Offering loads of charm in an SUV segment that is full of competition, and as an economical unit that won't hurt your hip pocket too much, the Ignis is a winner.
Sadly, local variants of the Suzuki Ignis are limited to being just front-wheel drive, which means that you won't quite find the off-roading prowess in this unit that you might desire if you are looking to head into the wilderness. Overseas, the Ignis does come with an option for four-wheel drive, making it all the more disappointing that local motorists miss out on what would have been a highly desirable option.
As quirky and fun as the Ignis is to drive, when it comes to rough terrain including hills, you might want to look at other options that come with 4x4 functionality. One potential consideration for the Ignis is that the suspension is somewhat skewed towards being hard, so when driving over uneven surfaces you may experience some compromise in ride comfort.
The first generation Suzuki Ignis appeared on Australian roads in 2000, and would later morph into the first generation Holden Cruze. Neither car set the world on fire, and are now lost in the sands of time. However, after exiting the market in 2008, the Ignis nameplate is back with a striking new design closely resembling Suzuki’s iM-4 concept from the 2015...
View ReviewThe 1.2-litre engine pulls willingly when given a boot full and will surprise other motorists, at least to 60km per hour. This is probably possible due to the 840kg weight of the Ignis. One area for improvement would be suspension tuning! With occupants in the back seats (only two 70kg teenagers) the little Ignis will bottom out with a "thud", even over smal...
View Reviewgreat little car for the city
View ReviewLove my car. Very comfortable. Being able to slide the back seats forward is fantastic. All passengers have good leg room. The only problem is not having very much storage space.
