Find out the Suzuki APV 2016 price today!
Although it is no longer being produced for the Australian new car market, the Suzuki APV was designed by the auto-maker in its home country of Japan, albeit manufacturing took place in Indonesia, where the company's subsidiary, Suzuki Indomobil Motor, produced the car in bulk quantity.
Compared with some of the modern light-commercial vans that are still being sold on the market today, the Suzuki APV doesn't quite fit the bill as being a particularly fuel efficient car, at least by today's standards. If you need something with up-to-date technology, safety aids and decent fuel economy to boot, consider an alternative van from the likes of Ford, Volkswagen or Renault, to name a few choices.
The Suzuki APV was retired in 2019, with the light-commercial van falling short of requirements in terms of critical safety equipment, namely stability control, as well as concerns over its emission levels. With only modest sales to its name, the introduction of Federal government regulations from November 2017 that require every light-commercial vehicle sold across the country to feature ESC as standard, the APV was discontinued without much reservation.
