Find out the ŠKODA KAROQ 2017 price today!
Skoda's mid-sized Karoq SUV proves that you don't need to fall back on the same names time and time again to find yourself a superb car. What's more, this is one way to bring a bit of personality to your daily driver. Loads of equipment and impressive drive qualities are the defining traits of this charming unit, ensuring that it stands out from the crowd based on merit, not just its sharp looks. It's just the right size for a small family as well, but if you find yourself in need of a little more room, and added practicality, Skoda's next-in-line SUV, the Kodiaq, should also be on your radar.
You may have heard the Skoda Karoq has been discontinued in certain markets, including the UK, however, in the Australian new car market, the Skoda Karoq is still being sold. In fact, the Karoq range has been given a refresh, with the mid-size SUV now offered in two premium variants. Skoda has done away with the most-affordable version of the entry-level variant, but at the same time it has introduced a high-performance version in the 140TSI Sportline to sit at the top of the range.
The Skoda Karoq is smaller than the Kodiaq, which is longer, taller and more upright in its stance. It makes sense after all, since the Karoq is a mid-sized SUV, whereas the Kodiaq is a large SUV. With this, there is third row seating and space for seven in the Kodiaq thanks to its larger status and rear overhang, and it also boasts a more comprehensive tech offering in the cabin, even though the interior is largely similar between the two. Of course, being bigger, the Kodiaq also needs more power, and it hasn't missed out there, making it the more potent if not slightly less economical of the two on the road.
