Find out the Renault Kangoo 2018 price today!
The all-electric Renault Kangoo offers a sustainable alternative for those that want to make the switch to the next-gen format. The good news is that the Kangoo Maxi Z.E. has a real-world range of 200 kilometres, which is the market's biggest driving range for electric vans. That might not seem like much, however, for day-to-day business, you'll be pleasantly surprised just how versatile 200 kilometres of driving range turns out to be. If you want something with a longer driving range, you'll have no choice but to look at SUVs, although with a compromise there for work purposes.
Prices for the new Renault Kangoo range begin at $26,290 plus on-road costs for the basic trim level Commercial Kangoo Compact 1.2. At nearly double the price, the top spec Commercial Kangoo Maxi ZE retails for $50,290 before on-road costs. Be mindful, however, this top-of-the-range model is an all-electric van, so you really are paying a premium for a whole other type of vehicle, and one that will pay dividends over the long-run. These prices are based on Renault's Suggested Retail Pricing, so don't forget to strike up a bargain!
In overseas markets, there is a specific Renault Kangoo model dubbed the campervan, which has a dedicated sleeping area and is perfect for two people who want to travel and live a life full of adventure. Sadly, this variant isn't available in Australia. However, that doesn't mean the Kangoo doesn't have the space for sleeping, as the back of this van offers ample space. In fact, some younger buyers of the Kangoo convert and fit out the rear of the van with a sleeping area, so the option is certainly available, albeit not straight out of the showroom.
The addition of a six-speed dual-clutch auto has added instant box appeal to the Renault Kangoo Maxi.
View ReviewAs some-one who gets frustrated battling the peak-hour traffic on the way to work, the prospect of doing it eight hours straight – as courier drivers and other small business operators face on a daily basis – is daunting. However, after a week zipping around in Renault’s range-topping Kangoo Maxi van, fitted with a car-like turbo-diesel donk and new, quick-s...
View ReviewThe Renault Kangoo range of small vans was launched in 1997, and with more than two decades of production across two model generations behind it, it has some serious runs on the board. In fact, Renault tells us the Kangoo has been Europe’s number-one van range for 18 years and counting. The automotive giant’s experience in LCVs shows in the latest version of...
View ReviewThere’s actually something liberating about bombing around town in a van. Perhaps it’s the anonymity afforded by just another beast of burden going about its daily duties. And make no mistake, small vans are the lifeblood of our cities, keeping things moving in the urban sprawl with relative ease and without a huge footprint. Fun fact. Try as I might, I coul...
View ReviewRenault’s decision to import two of its most popular European-market battery-electric cars to Australia is one that should pique the interest of small business operators. And it’s not the stylish Renault Zoe city compact that will have their attention, but rather the more utilitarian Kangoo Maxi ZE that will accompany it here. Renault’s electric Kangoo has b...
