Find out the Porsche Panamera 2018 price today!
My word it is! The Porsche Panamera is a fantastic choice of car, even as a daily driver. The engine line-up, which includes plug-in hybrid options, is outstanding, bringing ample power and gusto to the table. The driving dynamics of the Panamera are hard to match, with drivers afforded a truly one-of-a-kind experience behind the wheel. Of course, add in all the bells and whistles associated with a premium brand like Porsche, and its esteemed manufacturing quality, here you have a living legend.
It goes without saying that Porsche, as a luxury brand, entails significant maintenance and repair costs. So don't expect to get away lightly in terms of the bill from the dealership or mechanic. In fact, a Porsche is likely to set you back far more than the likes of BMW or Mercedes-Benz, even if it may not need as many repairs. The reality, however, is that each service will be far dearer than that of other brands. On the plus side, owners have some control over this if they do not use their vehicles that often.
Porsche owners tend to take great care of their pride and joy, and you will often find that many owners keep the mileage reasonably low on their luxury unit. Nonetheless, these sorts of cars are built to the highest of standards, and they are about as reliable as any other brand on the market. So as long as you take care of the essentials when it comes to repairs and maintenance, as a conservative starting point you should be able to get well over 175,000 kilometres from this outstanding car.
The price isn't for the faint-hearted, but the technology under the Panamera Hybrid's skin is state of the art. It's a performance weapon with some green credentials too.
View ReviewPorsche has developed the Panamera GTS (and the Sport Turismo wagon) to provide a V8-engined alternative to the Panamera Turbo at a more accessible price point. That means lower levels of engine output than the Turbo trim level, but Porsche has sweetened the deal with some extra bits and pieces for the Panamera GTS over the V6-engined Panamera 4S to justify...
View ReviewI do love a wagon. They say to anyone who wants to listen that the person who shops for a wagon isn't a conformist. "I could have gotten an SUV, yes," owners can smile smugly. "But I didn't want one. I wanted a wagon." And that same justification could easily be made for anyone who decides to choose a Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo. The all-new station wagon...
View ReviewIt turns out the station wagon isn't dead. As a result of being bludgeoned and crushed by the weight of SUVs currently flattening the planet, it’s just mutated. It’s far easier to sell one if you don’t call it a wagon, of course, and even easier if you put a Porsche badge on it. Theoretically, a wagon, with its lower centre of gravity and reduced ugliness, s...
View ReviewRationale disappeared roughly $250,000 ago. No one needs a 300km/h limousine, nor does anyone need a family wagon capable of zero to 100km/h in under four seconds. However, in this exclusive market wants far outweigh needs and there are people out there that want those criteria met, hence the existence of the Mercedes-AMG S63 L and the Porsche Panamera Turbo...
