The Peugeot Partner is a van that currently sits in the middle of the French auto-maker's commercial vehicle range, at least overseas. Locally, however, the Partner is the smallest van in Peugeot's Australian line-up, not quite as big as the mid-sized Expert nor the large-size Boxer. Peugeot has a good reputation for commercial vehicles, so the Partner is quite the versatile unit fit for a number of different needs.
If you're looking at the small van sector, make sure you list the Peugeot Partner as one of the must-see options, as it is certainly among the better options in this class. It is an economical van to run, effortless to operate, highly practical, and also offers a smooth ride that feels rather compliant. The seating is comfortable, and there are some nice upmarket touches inside the cabin. It may not have the refinement as that of some rivals, but it does excel in its own way and brings a touch of European charm to the fore.
While they are different vans, the reality is that most people would consider these two models as like-for-like. They are built on the same architecture platform, and also happen to be assembled at the same factory. With near-identical specifications, there isn't much separating them - they even look eerily similar as well. That goes for the European-sold Vauxhall Combo Cargo as well. Nonetheless, look closely and you'll spot a few variations, mostly inside the cabin. In terms of key features, however, the duo are practically the same.

But the more mundane, mainstream Giulia isn’t what the red-blooded Alfisti want to know about. They want...
