With a sense of poise that rivals some of the well-regarded SUVs, the Mitsubishi Triton has earnt its spot among the best-selling utes in the Australian car market. Boasting a strong safety offering, commendable fuel economy and colossal 4WD capabilities, there isn't much this unit can't handle. Unlike many other utes, the Triton is also quite the effortless drive, a simple and reliable affair for the driver who gets caught in a tight spot from time to time. Don't look past this quiet achiever - good is an understatement.
As one of the most dependable and reliable brands on the market, Mitsubishi has long produced cars that have an enduring road life, not to mention, run smoothly well into the future. Used by a host of tradies for the most rigorous day-to-day tasks, the Mitsubishi Triton is as tough as nails, with a sturdy engine and robust chassis that prove capable of grinding out the best results you'll need for the task at hand. There are many Triton's out there with hundreds of thousands of kilometres behind them, but as with any car, regular preventative maintenance plays a key part.
The Mitsubishi Triton range begins at a starting price of $22,990, which is the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price for Triton GLX (4X2) with basic trim, and excluding costs such as stamp duty, other government charges and options. At the top of the range, however, is the Triton GSR (4X4), which comes in at a price of $52,740 based on the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. A number of other variants are available in the middle of this range, including utes with diesel and petrol-powered engines, in addition to manual and automatic transmissions and a host of other features and amenities.

It was 1978 when the Forte first rolled off the production line in Japan and from that came the L200 which was the first of the Mitsubishi utes to come to our shores in the early 1980s. The L200 was available in four-wheel drive form from its early years, and led to the short-wheelbas...
View ReviewTHEY SAY sex sells, so why on earth is the divisively designed Mitsubishi Triton a regular podium visitor in the pick-up truck sales race? Look past the styling and even a cursory glance at the Thai-made Triton Exceed’s spec sheet will reveal several compelling truths. At $48,000 all-in, the range flagship comfortably undercuts most mid-level rivals, and the...

View ReviewGreat vehicle and has exceeded our expectations. We are towing a caravan and have travelled over 8000kms and are currently in far Nth Qld. Decided to have the engine oil and filter changed in Longreach. Having the long range tank was a very good move as fuel can be very expensive and long distances between fuel stations.
View ReviewI have had the vehicle for just over a year. Have done fewer kms and adventures than expected due to Covid and unkindly weather. However I can say, both as a tourer and a family vehicle,I love my Triton !
