Find out the Mercedes-Benz C250 2016 price today!
Mercedes-Benz no longer produces the C250, with the German car brand instead sprucing up its line-up thanks to the growing diversity and uptake of other modern vehicles in its stable. There are still plenty of C250 models floating around in the second-hand market, but if you really want to own the best car out there, look to today's models, which boast innovative equipment and features that set them apart from the cars of just a few years ago.
When comparing like for like, in terms of models from the same year, the C250 may well edge out the C200 thanks to its performance specs. Although they shared the same engine size, the C250 had the ability to run at twice the boost pressure of the C200, providing it with more power and torque, whereas the C200 offered a more smooth and refined ride. If you're comparing an older C250 against one of the new C200 models, however, that comparison is likely to prove different, as the C200 has seen improvements in this regard and also comes with more advanced features given the C250 was retired a few years back.
Production of the C250 stopped a few years ago, winding up in 2017. Some models were still sold the year after, as stock continued to float around the country in various showrooms. It was a relatively short tenure for the C250 across the nation, with the model first released in July 2014 and then phased out just three and a half years later. On the plus side, even by today's standards, this is one fuel-efficient car, not to mention a refined day-to-day ride.
Can the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C250d Coupe deliver a convincingly premium sports experience when powered by a diesel four-cylinder? We find out.
