Kia NIRO FAQs

PMC Says...

Kia’s Niro is the Korean auto-maker’s answer to the growing number of electric vehicles slowly making their way down under. It’s a stylish and eye-catching car, the sort of vehicle that makes you wonder why you never noticed it earlier. However, the Niro is a relatively new name, albeit one that has been marked for a short-term production life, with a replacement on the way. However, if you can look past the lofty price-point, this is an outstanding car that could become a bit of a cult classic one day, especially if a limited number of units are produced and sold in Australia. Nonetheless, with the same electric set-up as the popular Hyundai Kona Electric - which relies on a 64kWh battery pack, plus 150kW and 395Nm electric motor - the Niro has a driving range exceeding 450km, which is very good in our books. Perfect for just about any trip. But it is also the quality of this ride that cannot be understated, since the Niro feels very polished on road, and in keeping with the upmarket presentation inside the cabin. With delightful build quality and an assortment of features on offer, the Kia Niro is designed with you in mind.

The Korean manufacturer hasn’t scrimped on variety either, bringing all three electrified variants – hybrid, plug-in hybrid...
