Find out the Jeep Cherokee 2018 price today!
It takes a lot to stand out in a crowded segment of the new car market, but the Jeep Cherokee does exactly that by incorporating genuine off-road prowess and a formidable V6 engine into a rugged SUV chassis, something few of its peers are able to do. Compared with past iterations of the Cherokee, here you have a refreshed look, plenty of safety aids, and more room in the boot, so all told there is a lot to like here given Jeep has maintained its price for this quality 4x4.
Like any other car, the Jeep Cherokee also has some problems that have been reported among owners. In prior years this included engine and transmission issues, with the 2015 model in particular faring worse than others. Transmission issues resurfaced in the 2019 edition as well, with hard jerky shifts not all that uncommon while shifting into higher or lower gears, however, Jeep has been working to address these issues, and you will find the Cherokee is not particularly any worse than other models when it comes to the incidence of problems.
If you ask most Jeep Cherokee owners, you'll quickly come to realise that this rugged unit has an average maximum lifespan of about 20 years. Now, just because it might last that long, it doesn't mean it will. After all, a large factor in how long a car might last is whether you keep up with maintenance, and also how you use your car. Even then, just because you might think you have scope to buy a second-hand Cherokee to take advantage of its long lifespan, there is often greater peace of mind when opting for a new model, plus warranty coverage as well.
The polarising front end is gone, but the same two engines remain. The 2018 Jeep Cherokee is 'same same but different'. It still has the chops, though, to appeal to buyers in the medium SUV segment.
View ReviewYou have got to have some sympathy for the folks at FCA Australia. Having put up with the Jeep Cherokee medium SUV’s polarizing looks for four years, it finally gets its hands on a much more orthodox facelift, throws a heap of equipment at it, keeps the pricing pretty much stationary and launches it to the media. And on that very day, a product safety recall...
View ReviewMany things make no sense. For example, a truth-averse, comb-over enthusiast in the White House, YouTube comments, and Pokmon GO. Apply logic and their reason for being collapses, yet they exist. In fact, they provide amusement and satisfaction for people all over the world. Which is where the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk blasts into the frame. No one needs...
View ReviewHere it is, the ‘revised’ 2018 Jeep Cherokee. The Americans are calling it the 2019 Jeep Cherokee, but don’t let that fool you - it's only January 2018, after all… Regardless of styling being subjective, the previous model - first released overseas in 2013 - was nothing if not polarising. And after a few years of repeatedly telling us there was nothing wrong...
View ReviewMy husband loves the Jeep Cherokee SR Sports, tows the boat beautifully (hardly know it’s there behind the car). Our little black Jeep of the family looks, feels and we both feel quite wealthy in the car. Best decision we have made.
