The Isuzu FX series of trucks spans across 10 models, including 4x2s, 6x2s, 6x4s and a prime mover that has become very popular as a car transporter. The range features an Allison 6-speed automatic transmission, or manual for those with a preference to take matters into their own hands. The FX series boasts a gross vehicle mass (GVM) between 16,500kg and 24,000kg, in addition to a gross combination mass (GCM) between a monstrous 38,000kg to 45,000kg. Thanks to an imposing high-torque 9.8L turbo diesel engine, power levels on offer are sturdy across the range, with 257kW at 2000rpm.
