The Isuzu FRD and FRR line-up of trucks feature a gross vehicle mass (GVM) between 10,700kg and 11,100kg, and a gross combination mass (GCM) between 14,500kg to 16,000kg. Power levels on offer start at 154kW in the base variants at 2400rpm, 177kW at 2400rpm in the mid-tier variants and peak at 191kW at 2400rpm in the top-of-the-line models. As far as torque, there is 726Nm at 1600rpm in the base models, 765Nm in the mid-tier models and rounding out the series’ highest spec models is 761Nm between 1,450 and 2,400rpm. Some of the key features across the FRD and FRR vehicles include: low and high pressure sequential turbochargers, ABS, idle stop-start system (ISS), hill start assistance, electric mirrors, front stabiliser bar, cornering lamps, cruise control, anti-skid regulator and stability control system.
