Is the Infiniti Q70 discontinued?

Yes, Infiniti pulled the plug on the Q70 when it made sweeping changes to its vehicle line-up at the end of model year 2019. One of the most sophisticated sedans in the auto luxury segment, the Q70 faced a number of challengers. In Australia, the Infiniti Q70 was phased out following model year 2020, with the one-year difference being a typical result of the fact that cars in other parts of the world often end up down under the following year.
Why did Infiniti discontinue the Q70?

As with any car, if the sales aren't meeting expectations, then it is only a matter of time until things wind down. In the case of the Q70, this full-size luxury sedan faced stiff competition from the German trio in the Mercedes-Benz S Class, the BMW 7 Series, and the Audi A8. Add to that the fact that more and more buyers have been embracing SUVs in place of sedans, and unfortunately the Q70 was another casualty of that trend.
