Find out the Infiniti Q60 2018 price today!
Where the Q50 may fall a little short in terms of hitting the mark for a luxury marque, it is a completely different story for the Infiniti Q60, which feels as though it was born for this corner of the market. The engine configuration is delightful, really helping this unit hit its strides in no time, while handling and responsiveness feel very lively. The seating is supportive and comfortable, while the rest of the cabin feels refined. The tech offer and space in the rear are still a little behind models from Infiniti's nearest rivals, but the price here represents superb value.
The speed of the Q60 may come as a surprise to some, because this unit is particularly sprightly when you put it on the track in a straight line. Estimates put the Q60 down as taking just 5.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h, and 11.9 seconds from 0 to 160km/h. From standstill to 200 km/h the Q60 takes approximately 19.5 seconds, and thanks to its twin-turbo V6 set-up it boasts a top-speed of more than 250km/h.
The Q60 was produced by Infiniti, which is the luxury marque of Japanese auto manufacturer Nissan. It was established in 1989, with the company's headquarters located in Yokohama, Japan. Although it may not have the big-name brand appeal as other high-end makes like BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi, among others, Infiniti is a top-tier luxury auto-maker. The Infiniti range has been produced in Japan and the UK, with the brand's vehicles exported to a number of markets around the world. Sadly, Australia is no longer one of those markets, with the brand withdrawing from the local car market in 2020.
The Infiniti Q60 is very pretty, and there's lots of tech hiding under the skin, but it harbours a few unwelcome surprises.
View ReviewWe don't love stereotypes here at CarAdvice, but some are difficult to shake. BMW builds rear-wheel-drive sports coupes, generally with an inline-six under the bonnet – except for when it doesn't – while Audi tends to make safe, well-built cars with all-wheel drive. The motoring industry is full of tired ideas about what brands do, but no matter how hard we...
View Review"Same taste, different bottle,” read the tomato sauce label. Have we reached peak tomato sauce, where the only improvements that can be made are to the bottle it comes in? Maybe. Japanese upstarts Lexus and Infiniti reckon it’s the same when it comes to cars. Both think that a cheaper thing down the aisle can be just as good, if not better. With eyes now fix...
