Hyundai iLoad
The Hyundai iLoad was retired from the Australian new car market in 2021, which followed the introduction of the new Staria van and people-mover range. A fairly no-nonsense option for any tradie, courier, or commercial business operator, the iLoad was offered as either a three-seat van or six-seat crew van, and with the choice of either a manual or auto transmission. While it offers a spacious cabin and comfortable seating, the iLoad isn’t equipped with the most up-to-date safety technology for its time, in which case, you may want to look at the incumbent option on offer from Hyundai. On the other hand, something ahead of the game here is the drive dynamics of this unit, which handles well, offers solid grunt when you put your foot down, and also feels composed in every facet. Not only is this one easy vehicle to operate, but it is also high on practicality, with ample payload and towing capacity, first-rate accessibility, and affordable running costs. Although it has since been replaced by the Staria, a second-hand iLoad van could serve some buyers well. It’s still a relatively modern unit, and where it matters most, this vehicle excels at doing everything you could ask, and then some.

But the more mundane, mainstream Giulia isn’t what the red-blooded Alfisti want to know about. They want...
