The Hyundai Genesis was a rear-wheel drive sports coupe that was a part of the South Korean auto-maker's line-up until it was retired in 2016. However, it wasn't the end of the Genesis entirely, with the model separated out into a standalone marque.
Genesis is a luxury offshoot brand that is a subsidiary of Korean car manufacturer, Hyundai. Established in 2015, Genesis was spun off from the model that once shared its Genesis name under the Hyundai logo.
