Honda NSX
In the motoring world, few cars can claim to hold a candle to the infamous Honda NSX. It’s the stuff of dreams for just about anyone who has followed supercars or ever wanted to tear around a racetrack. But whilst the last generation of the NSX was impressively fast, it didn’t necessarily equal its peers for pure power. Say no more however, as this new version is an absolute ripsnorter. Loaded with a 3.5L V6 motor, two turbos and three electric engines, this behemoth spits out 427kW. That would be enough to launch even the biggest of cars, but in this case, we’re talking about a sleek, low-profile gem that is gorgeous to look at. One glance at that reclining profile should be enough to set your heart beating, before you’ve even put your foot down. It’s without exaggeration that the quality of materials inside the cabin is of the highest distinction, you’re never left wanting more. Of course, the Honda NSX isn’t cheap by any means but as far as supercars go, everything feels in harmony. The level of grip, accuracy in steering, efficiency while braking, and raw power is transcending.

The 2019 Honda NSX (New Sports eXperience) is a $420,000 proposition powered by a 3.5-litre...

The Honda NSX is an under-appreciated car. You could argue it’s always been thus. The original might have revolutionised the supercar segment with its ease of use, but when you’re trying to sell a supercar, sensible ain’t sexy. It’s a legacy that’s carried over to the new NSX, of which just nine examples have been sold in Australia since its 2017 introductio...
