Find out the Honda NSX 2016 price today!
If you were to look up the meaning of a supercar in the dictionary, not only would the Honda NSX meet all the criteria, you may well find a picture of it right there! This is the sort of car that dreams are made of. An aspirational car, but one that is of the highest calibre, the Honda NSX is the embodiment of precision crafted performance. This is the mantra that serves as the foundation of every decision the Acura-Honda brand makes, and the NSX is the proof in the pudding.
Sadly, no, the Honda NSX is not available down under. Only a small number of NSX units were ever sold across Australia, and unfortunately, the final iteration of the hybrid supercar wasn't available for import after the Japanese auto-maker decided to axe the model from the local line-up in 2020. First introduced in 2016, the NSX was available as a special-order vehicle, and only nine units were sold across four years.
Australian motoring diehards will have to look on in envy at overseas markets, because the final Honda NSX is a blistering supercar that has few peers. Thanks to 492 lb-ft of torque at 2,000rpm, and 600 horsepower, the NSX can sprint from 0-100km/h in well under 3 seconds. The 3.5-litre V6 petrol-electric hybrid unit boasts a top speed of more than 300km/h, putting this well and truly in rare territory as an out-and-out performance beast.
Honda NSX International Launch Lisbon, Portugal All-wheel drive, nine-speed twin-clutch auto, twin-turbo petrol-electric mid-engined, multi-material space-frame, hybrid driver-centric supercar… Honda’s NSX flagship sports car certainly ticks the buzzword boxes. Aggressive styling with stellar performance to match, this is more a calling card for the Japanese...
View ReviewWe've finally driven Honda's new supercar, albeit for five minutes. As far as first drives go, this one's pretty short. Just two laps of a 4.2km test track. But any chance to get behind the wheel of the long-awaited Honda NSX is better than none. Honda gave media a sneak preview drive of the new NSX ahead of this week's Tokyo Motor Show. Honda's next generat...
View ReviewThe feeling that followed, upon learning this en route, could be likened to the nervous excitement felt as a schoolboy when your high school crush sat next to you on the school bus - mixed with the mischievous thrill of stealing some other kid’s bag and dangling it out the window as the bus hurtles the highway. Standing face-to-face with the new-generation N...
