Find out the Ford Mustang 2021 price today!
The Ford Mustang addresses the gap in the local market for American muscle cars, with the blue oval brand offering these tailored monsters that are brimming with power and aggression. Offering a full list of features and amenities worth every penny, not to mention all the style and comfort you could need in such a ripsnorting car, the Ford Mustang is not just a sight to behold, it is an experience to savour, and a joy to own.
Available as either a convertible or fastback, the price of the latest Ford Mustang begins from a starting price of $50,990 for the basic trim level Mustang 2.3 Gtdi, all the way up to $99,980 for the R-Spec Mustang. There are multiple variants available in fastback format, while just the two for the convertible. Across the range you can choose from a 2.3-litre turbocharged Gtdi engine or thunderous 5.0-litre V8.
Not for the faint hearted, the Ford Mustang GT is a potent weapon known for its performance attributes, most notably, that growing engine and raw power. That's why it has become such a success story over the years and earned a legion of devout fans. The top-of-the-line R-Spec variant doesn't just boast a 5.0-litre engine, it also has a supercharger that allows it to pump out 522kW and 830Nm. Paired with a six-speed manual, the Ford Mustang in fastback format can go from 0-100 in 4.6 seconds, or 4.3 seconds when mated to a 10-speed auto gearbox. The EcoBoost variants, with a 2.3-litre turbocharged motor, are estimated at around 5.5 seconds for the same benchmark. As always though, drive responsibly!
It’s not without a sense of irony that the sound you make by sucking air through your teeth is the same as the induction noise made by the 2020 Ford Mustang 2.3-litre High Performance, as well as being the first thing you do any time anyone asks you what the turbocharged pony car is like. You know what I mean, a sort of inverted sigh, signifying a moment of...
View ReviewThe 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 looks formidable in ‘Twister Orange’ with black stickers, and let us say first up that it delivers a memorable driving experience. But at $83,365 plus on-road costs, is it really 20 grand better than the GT? That’s a question everyone should ask themselves right from the get-go, as we dive right in and consider what you get for y...
View ReviewIf any car could be accused of trading on its heritage too much it’s the Ford Mustang. The iconic pony car has embraced its retro style and stuck to the same principles that have made it so popular for so long. The latest return to ‘old days’ is the arrival of the Mach 1, a special edition that features a raft of upgrades to make it “the most track-focused M...
View ReviewFord claims its Mustang Mach 1 is both the "best-handling factory-produced" and "most track capable" Mustang to arrive in Australia. The power behind the bold claims is a raft of up-spec componentry that's been fitted. The majority of these goodies have been pilfered from the Shelby GT350/500 program, and are beyond basic bolt-on modifications. Before we get...
View ReviewGiven I’m the proud owner of the limited-build 2018 Ford Mustang Bullitt, and my younger brother has an original 1969 Mach 1 tucked away in his garage, I reckon I’m as well placed as anyone to call judgement on the latest iteration of what is a storied badge in Ford’s muscle car heritage – the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Apparently, Ford first used the name ‘M...
View ReviewAlways cheers me up when I get behind the wheel…can’t wait till spring comes when I can have the top down…just exhikerating experience. Got a hot lap in mustang coming up at The Bend Racing circuit…should be a real hoot, and am taking an extra pair of underpants to cope with any skid marks. 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😬🏎️
View ReviewI am very pleased with the Mustang and would have given it 5 stars except that from new new it had a squeak coming from the front suspension. After 5 visits to the service department both front suspension mounts were replaced and this seems to have fixed this issue. I do enjoy driving the Mustang and would recommend it.
View ReviewAbsoultely awesome. This is the best car I have ever owned and nothing else even comes close in regards to looks, performance, handling and simply the feel you have just from driving it.
