Find out the Ford Mustang 2020 price today!
The Ford Mustang addresses the gap in the local market for American muscle cars, with the blue oval brand offering these tailored monsters that are brimming with power and aggression. Offering a full list of features and amenities worth every penny, not to mention all the style and comfort you could need in such a ripsnorting car, the Ford Mustang is not just a sight to behold, it is an experience to savour, and a joy to own.
Available as either a convertible or fastback, the price of the latest Ford Mustang begins from a starting price of $50,990 for the basic trim level Mustang 2.3 Gtdi, all the way up to $99,980 for the R-Spec Mustang. There are multiple variants available in fastback format, while just the two for the convertible. Across the range you can choose from a 2.3-litre turbocharged Gtdi engine or thunderous 5.0-litre V8.
Not for the faint hearted, the Ford Mustang GT is a potent weapon known for its performance attributes, most notably, that growing engine and raw power. That's why it has become such a success story over the years and earned a legion of devout fans. The top-of-the-line R-Spec variant doesn't just boast a 5.0-litre engine, it also has a supercharger that allows it to pump out 522kW and 830Nm. Paired with a six-speed manual, the Ford Mustang in fastback format can go from 0-100 in 4.6 seconds, or 4.3 seconds when mated to a 10-speed auto gearbox. The EcoBoost variants, with a 2.3-litre turbocharged motor, are estimated at around 5.5 seconds for the same benchmark. As always though, drive responsibly!
A bitterly cold Melbourne day hardly seems the best time to be doing it, but mulling over the merits and demerits of the 2020 Ford Mustang High Performance 2.3L Convertible brings up the same philosophical question it always has: Does a four-cylinder engine have any place in a Mustang? Lower-powered Mustangs are not a new thing. Over the years Ford has explo...
View ReviewThe 2020 Ford Mustang line-up has been refreshed and revamped, and there’s a new addition to the ranks. Well, sort of. The existing entry-level 2.3-litre EcoBoost Mustang has been given a new name: it’s now the Mustang High Performance 2.3L, and the one you see here is the Fastback coupe, though there is a Convertible version, too - if that’s what you’re aft...
View ReviewI’ve never been a huge Mustang person. I mean, I don’t think any enthusiast can truly not appreciate them for what they are, but the recipe just wasn’t quite for me. There was always a little something missing and I tend to like cars that are a little more dynamic. But then one day while looking through classifieds, I stumbled across a blue beast with some s...
View ReviewFast Fords – proper V8 front-engined, rear-drive fast Fords, not the rare breed mid-engined V6 supercar – don’t get any better than the new Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang. And that’s a relief to say after the last one. It might have had a headline top speed of 200mph (322km/h) and north of 494kW to propel it. But, while it could lay elevens with the best of them...
View ReviewShakespeare wrote: “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” But what if the rose kept its name, looked the same but smelled totally different? That’s always been the conundrum of the four-cylinder Mustang. It looks like a Mustang and feels like a Mustang, but the crucial ingredients of a muscle car, the grunt and the noise – aka the sweet smell of a...
View ReviewAlways cheers me up when I get behind the wheel…can’t wait till spring comes when I can have the top down…just exhikerating experience. Got a hot lap in mustang coming up at The Bend Racing circuit…should be a real hoot, and am taking an extra pair of underpants to cope with any skid marks. 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😬🏎️
View ReviewI am very pleased with the Mustang and would have given it 5 stars except that from new new it had a squeak coming from the front suspension. After 5 visits to the service department both front suspension mounts were replaced and this seems to have fixed this issue. I do enjoy driving the Mustang and would recommend it.
View ReviewAbsoultely awesome. This is the best car I have ever owned and nothing else even comes close in regards to looks, performance, handling and simply the feel you have just from driving it.
