Find out the Ford Mustang 2019 price today!
The Ford Mustang addresses the gap in the local market for American muscle cars, with the blue oval brand offering these tailored monsters that are brimming with power and aggression. Offering a full list of features and amenities worth every penny, not to mention all the style and comfort you could need in such a ripsnorting car, the Ford Mustang is not just a sight to behold, it is an experience to savour, and a joy to own.
Available as either a convertible or fastback, the price of the latest Ford Mustang begins from a starting price of $50,990 for the basic trim level Mustang 2.3 Gtdi, all the way up to $99,980 for the R-Spec Mustang. There are multiple variants available in fastback format, while just the two for the convertible. Across the range you can choose from a 2.3-litre turbocharged Gtdi engine or thunderous 5.0-litre V8.
Not for the faint hearted, the Ford Mustang GT is a potent weapon known for its performance attributes, most notably, that growing engine and raw power. That's why it has become such a success story over the years and earned a legion of devout fans. The top-of-the-line R-Spec variant doesn't just boast a 5.0-litre engine, it also has a supercharger that allows it to pump out 522kW and 830Nm. Paired with a six-speed manual, the Ford Mustang in fastback format can go from 0-100 in 4.6 seconds, or 4.3 seconds when mated to a 10-speed auto gearbox. The EcoBoost variants, with a 2.3-litre turbocharged motor, are estimated at around 5.5 seconds for the same benchmark. As always though, drive responsibly!
It’s only been a few months since Tickford announced a 400kW upgrade for the Ford Mustang GT; and it’s fair to say the $2000 tuner pack has been popular with Aussie Mustang customers from the get-go. The additional 61kW/76Nm gives the 5.0-litre Ford V8 a chance to run like a thoroughbred all the way to its 7500rpm redline, and with a sports exhaust available...
View ReviewIn an act of automotive heresy second to very few, I have never been on the Mustang train. I mean, I get it, I understand it, but I am not onboard. But, each to their own and all that - the great thing about automotive iconography is that it's harmless. Bought a nasty old shell and spent 10 years doing it up? All power to you. Just don't expect me to look al...
View ReviewIt’s 1968, the year of the hit movie Bullitt, starring the king of cool, Steve McQueen, and one of the most iconic cars in Silver Screen history – the Ford Mustang GT 390 Fastback. The movie itself was slow and dull, except for one of the most spectacular car chases ever captured on film, which saw McQueen and his Mustang in hot pursuit of a menacing black D...
View ReviewThere's a scene in the movie Bullitt when the actors say nothing for about 10 minutes. Instead, as a Ford Mustang and Dodge Charger terrorise San Francisco’s streets in chase of each other, big V8s fill the dialogue. There’s no music, just bellowing engines and screeching tyres to hold your attention, as many argue, better than any other car chase scene in h...
View ReviewAlways cheers me up when I get behind the wheel…can’t wait till spring comes when I can have the top down…just exhikerating experience. Got a hot lap in mustang coming up at The Bend Racing circuit…should be a real hoot, and am taking an extra pair of underpants to cope with any skid marks. 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😬🏎️
View ReviewI am very pleased with the Mustang and would have given it 5 stars except that from new new it had a squeak coming from the front suspension. After 5 visits to the service department both front suspension mounts were replaced and this seems to have fixed this issue. I do enjoy driving the Mustang and would recommend it.
View ReviewAbsoultely awesome. This is the best car I have ever owned and nothing else even comes close in regards to looks, performance, handling and simply the feel you have just from driving it.
