Although the Ford Fiesta range always offered a great level of versatility and choice, the fact that the ST is now the only version available to Australian motorists means you need to be pretty serious about your love for hatchbacks to truly appreciate this unit. Nonetheless, with sharp handling, and impeccable driving dynamics, the Fiesta ST is a blast to drive. It has a feisty engine that delivers brisk acceleration. What's more, the cabin is lovely and comfortable, features are plentiful and the Fiesta ST makes a great companion for long trips. Those are all the attributes you need to justify this as a solid car, let alone the other perks you'll have to realise for yourself when you sit behind the wheel.
One important thing to clarify is that the Fiesta has not been discontinued in entirety, with the top-of-the-line ST sports model still available to local new car buyers. However, the broader Fiesta range was culled back in 2018 as the auto-maker prioritised its efforts in the hatch category on the Focus. Given the slide in demand for passenger vehicles, Ford has sought to build more profitable vehicles that are in line with the preferences of today's motorists.

The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price is $31,990 for this stylish and slick hatch, which comes with a four-cylinder 1.5-litre turbo motor, and is only available with a six-speed manual as default.
