Ferrari 812 FAQs

PMC Says...

Always ready to make a splash, Ferrari’s 812 supercar doesn’t miss a beat. Available in various guises, from the Superfast to the GTS, and even limited-edition variants in the Competizione coupe and Competizione A convertible, this is one of the most breathtaking cars to have graced Australian shores. The Superfast and GTS are already absurdly quick thanks to a stupendous 6.5-litre V12, but the Competizione variants take things up another notch thanks to a retweak of what is among the last naturally-aspirated V12 engines on offer down under. Ready for the race track, the top-tier models offer 610kW of power and 692Nm of torque thanks to lighter internal engine parts, with all that juice distributed to the rear wheels via a masterly seven-speed dual-clutch auto transmission. Other adjustments ensure this is the highest-revving Ferrari road car ever built, and the entire 812 range can clear 0-100km/h in less than 3 seconds. The Competizione variants also benefit from independent rear-wheel steering, electronic rear differential, Side Slip Control, adaptive dampers, enhanced aerodynamics, and more. Only 999 units of the Competizone, and 599 units of the Competizione A have been produced, but the regular 812 Superfast and GTS variants are extraordinary in their own right, offering unparalleled driving dynamics, a classy interior, and an experience you’ll never forget.

But the more mundane, mainstream Giulia isn’t what the red-blooded Alfisti want to know about. They want...
