When Chrysler made the decision at the end of 2021 to exit its last right-hand drive market, that brought an end to the days where you were freely able to pick up one of the American brand’s highly-regarded vehicles. Of course, it hasn’t necessarily impacted the brand’s dealer footprint across Australia, because as part of the Fiat-Chrysler Automobile Group, which has now been succeeded by Stellantis, the brand’s existing dealerships were already selling other cars from the likes of Fiat, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, and more. On the plus side, that means if you already own a Chrysler, you are in good hands, because the remaining dealer network, which spans more than 50 locations, still caters to ownership matters including servicing, warranty, roadside assistance, as well as parts and accessories. So while you won’t find any more Chryslers in car yards across the country, there is still ample support for the brand.
